R & D Personal Protection is Darleen Crochiere and Rob Stevens. We are located in Port St. Lucie, FL about 30 minutes north of Palm Beach County. Robert Stevens

Rob has been shooting and hunting since he was a child and continues to hunt small game. He also does custom gunsmithing on Ruger 10/22's and Mark II/III pistols and has turned out some incredible pieces when it comes to Ruger 10/22's. He is the one who produced the Ruger Manual that we sell for the 10/22. He did all the work, the writing, photography, layout, those are even his hands in the photographs. I still wonder how he was able to get some of those pictures. You can see some of his rifles on the Custom Work page.

Rob is an NRA Instructor and has developed courses to target specific firearm use.

Darleen Crochiere

I started shooting about 4 years ago and fell in love with it right away. I feel shooting is a great stress release. I enjoy the fact that when I'm shooting I don't think about anything else. I remain focused and just have fun.

I became an NRA Instructor because as a women I realized the absence of women in shooting and decided to bring them back to the sport. It is important to know how to use a firearm safely and effectively; and for some women, it is intimidating to have a man to instruct them in firearm use. 

Refuse to be a victim, train for awareness not just firearm use.
